International Ecocity Conferences.

from recycled telephone poles.
Dr. Jeff Kenworthy from Australia presented examples of
sustainability in cities around the world,
including Vancouver, British Colombia.
Dr. Kenworthy and many other presenters at the
conference also stressed the role of urban agriculture
in making cities more self-sufficient.
Dr. Dietmar Hahlweg, former mayor of Erlangen, Germany,
gave a presentation about the changes his city made to
become more bicycle friendly.
